How to arrange shapes and pictures?

A design file can have numerous elements. Elements that give it life, meaning, and context. But, you need to present them in a manner that a design can be easily processed by the human brain.

How do we do that?

In this FAQ, let us learn all bout arranging objects, flipping them and doing all sorts of changes to make them appealing.

Step 1: Log in to your Picmaker account and hop on to a design file that you're working on.

Step 2: Now, click on an image or an object that you'd like to arrange on a design file. You will notice that you can select all the objects, shapes, images, fonts, text boxes, etc.

Step 3: Notice the black box that appears when you click an object, font, text box, or shape.

Flip - The first option is to flip your object. Select the object and click on 'Flip' to rotate it in any direction you desire - left to right, right to left, top to bottom, or bottom to top.

Set as background - Then you have an option to set an object as a background. When you select this, the object goes right behind all other elements and settles as a background for your design file.

Replace - Use this command to replace an existing object with a different one. It removes an existing object and replaces it with the one that you have selected.

Duplicate - Use this option to copy + paste an existing object, i.e. duplicate it.

Delete - Use this option to remove an object from your design file.

Lock - Lock an image in its place on a design file with this option.

Arrange - Then, you can arrange an object as per your choice. Click on the 'Arrange' icon to get going with this.

The Arrange option needs a little more details. When you click on 'Arrangements,' you can choose to play around with your object - keep it in the front or the back.

There you go. There are several ways to play around with your designs. Feel free to try them in Picmaker until you find the right combination for yourself.
