Picmaker hosts 100 million pictures, which means there are 100 million ways for you to express yourself.

But, what if we told you that there are a few million more ways of expressing yourself?

How?

By adding customized color filters to your pictures.

Surprised? Let us dive right in to see how it works.

Step 1: Log in to your Picmaker account.

Step 2: Choose any template or go for a custom design. In the picture below, we have used a custom design. We've added a picture from our collection.

If you wish to upload a picture, you could click on 'Upload' at the bottom-left corner of your screen. If you need help uploading it, refer to this faq: How do I upload my own backgrounds or pictures?

When you've finished uploading, click on your picture to bring in onto your design canvas.

Step 3: Now, time for some magic :). Click on the picture that you've chosen. Then, click on the color scheme on the top-left. Notice how the color library opens up in the left-hand menu bar.

Step 4: Choose your color that you'd like to apply as a filter over your picture. You could either choose the existing colors or input your hexadecimal code in.

We chose a bluish color tone for our picture and this is how our design looks. Notice the color we chose.

Now let us compare these two pictures and see how they look side by side. Notice what adding a color tone can do to your pictures?

You can do this in your own pictures too. In the screenshot below, we've added a picture from a local computer and added a color overlay on it.

Adding a new color tone brings a new dimension to your design. Go ahead and try it out for yourself.
